VFX for CoadyArt installation projection

This is a piece by artist Cathyann Coady (no audio).  She created the content, and called on me do the visual effects to bring it to life.

To do this I created a number of eyelid shapes in Photoshop, and then animated them in After Effects.

Compositing required painting over sections where the lashes existed, adding in painted sections over where the grey head was visible through gaps, motion tracking (for each animated eyelid and gaps), masking, grading and matching grain.
