Gina Rinehart. Being the richest and most powerful woman is hard work...
In this animation, I have used actual collected Gina Rinehart quotes and (lovingly out of context of course) constructed her story, from the perspective of a little girl.
In my opinion, Gina, whilst becoming one of the worlds richest right wing contemporary figures, is still a little girl who hasn't yet resolved her personal issues...unfortunately the fall out of her own story is having an actual effect on the lively hoods of many through environmental destruction/pollution and her new lust for media control. But, she is a human being, and I believe just needs healing and enlightenment like the rest of us...
This was done quickly and was made using Adobe Flash, Photoshop and Audacity. I see it more as an animatic rather than a finished piece. Ideally I'd like it done frame by frame and in hand drawn style using something like TVPaint, rather than tweened as it is here.
I hope you enjoy 'Gina Mine-Heart' and hope more so that she herself grows and develops emotionally, sees the light and becomes a responsible world citizen...for all our sakes.
